The McCormick pit application calls for a HAUL ROUTE passing along Heart Lake Rd. through a rural residential area. Besides the concerns about noise and pollution impacts, there are serious SAFETY issues. This 2 lane road is utilized by pedestrians, cyclists, local motorists, and SCHOOL BUSES. We believe that the interests of local residents must be given top priority.
